For general privacy enquiries, contact:

Email: Hello@afrolifeministry.club
Website: https://afrolifeministry.club

2. THE PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information we collect depends on how you interact with AfroLife.

We aim to collect information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

2.1 Identity and Contact Information

We may collect:

  • Name or display name.
  • Email address.
  • Telephone number.
  • WhatsApp or Telegram contact details, where provided.
  • Country or general location.
  • Account credentials and membership identifiers.
  • Business or professional details relevant to a service you request.

Where appropriate, we may request additional information to verify your identity, process a transaction, fulfill a legal obligation, or protect an account.

2.2 Account and Community Information

If you register for or participate in an AfroLife community or digital service, we may collect information such as:

  • Registration and membership details.
  • Profile information and preferences.
  • Community participation and interactions.
  • Messages sent to us or through relevant community features.
  • Event registrations and attendance.
  • Communication preferences.
  • Reports, complaints, and customer-support correspondence.

Information shared publicly in a community may be visible to other participants. You should consider the audience before publishing personal or confidential information.

2.3 Ministry and Faith-Related Information

If you voluntarily contact AfroLife Ministry or participate in ministry activities, we may receive prayer requests, testimonies, religious interests, messages, or other information you choose to share.

Some of this information may reveal religious beliefs or other sensitive personal information.

We will handle such information with appropriate care and process it only where there is a lawful basis and any additional conditions required by applicable law are satisfied.

You should avoid including unnecessary sensitive information about yourself or other people in public forums or general enquiries.

Sharing a prayer request or testimony does not automatically authorise AfroLife to publish it, identify you publicly, or use it in marketing. Where separate permission is required, we will seek it.

2.4 Purchase and Transaction Information

If you purchase a product, book a service, register for an event, make a donation, or participate in another transaction, we may collect:

  • Order and booking details.
  • Products or services requested.
  • Billing and delivery information, where applicable.
  • Transaction references and payment status.
  • Refunds, cancellations, and customer-support records.
  • Relevant invoices and accounting information.
  • Donation or contribution records, where applicable.

Payment card information may be processed by a payment provider.

AfroLife does not intend to collect or retain full payment card details where these are handled directly by a third-party payment processor. The actual processing arrangements depend on the payment method and provider used.

2.5 Partner, Referral, and Programme Information

If you participate in the AfroLife Partner Network, a referral programme, a campaign, or a related commercial initiative, we may process:

  • Partner or participant details.
  • Referral identifiers and attribution records.
  • Relevant customer or campaign references.
  • Qualifying activity and verification records.
  • Commission or incentive calculations.
  • Payment details necessary to administer an agreed entitlement.
  • Records of communications, agreements, and disputes.

We will seek to limit information collected about referred individuals to what is reasonably necessary to administer the relevant program.

Partners must have an appropriate basis for sharing another person’s personal information with AfroLife.

2.6 AFL Points Information

If you participate in an AFL Points program, we may process:

  • Your program or account identifier.
  • Eligible activities and participation records.
  • Referral or campaign attribution.
  • Points earned, adjusted, reversed, or redeemed.
  • Eligibility and verification results.
  • Records of benefits claimed or issued.
  • Information needed to investigate suspected manipulation or fraud.

The exact information processed will depend on the programme’s implementation and rules.

AFL Points do not automatically constitute cryptocurrency, a blockchain asset, or a financial account. Any future wallet or blockchain feature may require additional information and a separate privacy notice.

2.7 Technical and Usage Information

When you visit our websites or use relevant digital services, we or our service providers may collect technical information, including:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address.
  • Browser and device information.
  • Operating system and general technical settings.
  • Pages viewed and interactions with digital features.
  • Referring pages and approximate location derived from technical information.
  • Session identifiers, cookies, and similar technologies, where used.
  • Security, diagnostic, and error logs.

The information collected depends on the website configuration, technologies deployed, and your privacy choices.

2.8 Creative and Event Information

If you submit music, artwork, photographs, videos, written content, or other creative material, we may process the material and associated information needed to administer your submission or collaboration.

This may include creator contact details, submission records, permissions, licensing information, and communications.

If you attend an event, we may process registration details and information reasonably necessary for admission, safety, accessibility, event administration, or follow-up communications.

Photography, recording, and promotional use of your image or voice will be handled in accordance with applicable notices, permissions, and legal requirements.

2.9 Information Received from Other Sources

We may receive information from third parties where appropriate, including payment providers, event partners, referral participants, service providers, public sources, or platforms through which you interact with AfroLife.

We will consider the source, purpose, and applicable legal requirements before using such information.

We do not assume that a third party is authorized to share personal information merely because it has supplied it to us.

3. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

AfroLife may use personal information for the following purposes.

3.1 Providing Services

To:

  • Create and administer accounts.
  • Respond to enquiries and requests.
  • Deliver products, services, content, and experiences.
  • Manage bookings, orders, events, and customer support.
  • Administer community membership.
  • Facilitate creative collaborations and partner activities.

3.2 Ministry and Community Activities

To respond to voluntary prayer requests, provide requested ministry communications, administer gatherings, facilitate community participation, and manage related activities.

Where information reveals religious beliefs or another sensitive characteristic, additional legal safeguards may apply.

3.3 Payments and Administration

To process or reconcile transactions, administer refunds, maintain accounting records, investigate disputes, prevent payment fraud, and meet applicable financial or legal obligations.

3.4 AFL Points and Partner Programs

To record qualifying activities, verify eligibility, attribute referrals, administer program benefits, investigate suspected abuse, and maintain accurate participation records.

3.5 Communications and Marketing

To send service-related notices and, where permitted, information about relevant products, services, music, events, community activities, partnerships, and other AfroLife initiatives.

Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable consent, objection, and opt-out requirements.

3.6 Security and Fraud Prevention

To protect accounts, investigate suspicious activity, enforce applicable rules, prevent misuse, maintain system integrity, and respond to security incidents.

3.7 Website Improvement and Analytics

Where applicable, to understand website performance, identify technical issues, evaluate usage patterns, and improve the relevance and accessibility of our services.

Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies will be used in accordance with applicable legal requirements and your preferences.

3.8 Legal and Regulatory Obligations

To comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, maintain records, establish or defend legal claims, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

3.9 Artificial Intelligence and Technology Services

Where AfroLife provides AI-enabled services or technology consulting, personal information may be processed to deliver the service requested, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, or fulfil the relevant engagement.

The information processed and any involvement of third-party AI providers will depend on the particular service.

We will not assume that information supplied for one purpose can automatically be reused for unrelated AI training, public content generation, or marketing. Any such use must have an appropriate legal basis and comply with applicable notices, agreements, and law.

4. OUR LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

Where applicable privacy law requires a lawful basis for processing, AfroLife will identify and rely on an appropriate basis for the relevant purpose.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

Performance of a contract: Processing necessary to provide a service, fulfill an order, administer a booking, or take requested steps before entering into an agreement.

Legitimate interests: Processing reasonably necessary for purposes such as service security, fraud prevention, administration, and improvement, where those interests are not overridden by applicable individual rights.

Consent: Processing based on your freely given consent where consent is the appropriate legal basis, including certain marketing communications, optional cookies, or uses of sensitive information.

Legal obligations: Processing necessary to comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Vital interests or other recognized legal grounds: Where a specific situation and applicable law justify reliance on such a basis.

The appropriate legal basis depends on the actual processing activity and the laws that apply to it.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not make processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal unlawful.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may have a right to object, subject to applicable law.

5. HOW WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION

AfroLife does not sell personal information as a commercial data product.

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary and legally permitted.

5.1 Service Providers

These may include providers of:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure.
  • Email and communications services.
  • Payment processing.
  • Customer support and account management.
  • Security, fraud prevention, and technical monitoring.
  • Analytics and website functionality.
  • Event registration and booking tools.
  • AI, software, and technology services.

Service providers should receive only the information reasonably necessary for their assigned functions and be subject to appropriate contractual and legal safeguards.

5.2 Business and Event Partners

Where necessary to fulfil a booking, referral, campaign, event, or other requested activity, relevant information may be shared with the partner responsible for delivering that activity.

The information disclosed should be limited to what is reasonably necessary.

Some partners may act independently and determine their own purposes for processing information. In those cases, their own privacy notices may apply.

Participation in one AfroLife service does not automatically authorize every partner or branch to access all information associated with your account.

5.3 Professional Advisers

We may disclose relevant information to legal, accounting, insurance, auditing, or other professional advisers where reasonably necessary for their services.

5.4 Legal, Regulatory, and Safety Disclosures

We may disclose information where required by law, pursuant to a valid legal process, or where reasonably necessary to protect individuals, investigate fraud, enforce applicable agreements, or establish or defend legal claims.

5.5 Business Reorganisation

If an applicable business or service is reorganised, transferred, or acquired, relevant information may be disclosed as part of that process where lawful and subject to appropriate safeguards.

Any recipient must respect applicable privacy obligations.

5.6 With Your Direction or Consent

We may share information where you request or authorise a particular disclosure, subject to applicable law.

We do not authorize partners to use personal information for unrelated purposes simply because they participate in the AfroLife ecosystem.

6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

AfroLife may work with service providers, partners, or operational teams in different countries.

Depending on the service and the providers involved, personal information may be processed or accessed in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates, or other countries.

The actual locations will depend on the systems and providers used for the relevant activity.

Where applicable law restricts international transfers, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism and any required supplementary safeguards.

These may include recognised adequacy arrangements, approved contractual protections, or other legally permitted mechanisms.

International processing does not remove the protections required by the privacy laws applicable to your information.

For questions about a particular transfer, contact Hello@afrolifeministry.club.

7. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Our websites may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies to support website functionality, remember preferences, protect security, or understand usage.

The technologies actually deployed may vary by website and service.

7.1 Essential Technologies

Certain technologies may be necessary to operate a website or provide a feature you request.

7.2 Preferences and Analytics

Where used, these technologies may help remember preferences or measure website performance.

7.3 Advertising and Marketing Technologies

If advertising or marketing technologies are used, they will be subject to applicable disclosure, consent, and opt-out requirements.

Where legally required, non-essential cookies or similar technologies will not be activated before the necessary consent is obtained.

You may also be able to manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect website functionality.

AfroLife should maintain a cookie notice or preference mechanism where required by the technologies deployed and applicable law.

8. MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION PREFERENCES

We may send essential service communications concerning account security, orders, bookings, programme participation, transactions, and material service changes.

These communications are distinct from optional promotional messages.

Where permitted, we may send marketing communications about AfroLife music, ministry activities, events, products, services, partnerships, and related initiatives.

You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe mechanism provided or by contacting Hello@afrolifeministry.club.

Where applicable, you may also manage messaging preferences through the relevant platform.

We will process opt-out requests in accordance with applicable law.

Opting out of marketing does not necessarily prevent essential messages required to administer a service or transaction.

We will not treat your participation in a ministry, purchase, event, or community as unrestricted consent to unrelated marketing.

9. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information for no longer than reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal obligations and other lawful grounds for retention.

Retention periods may depend on:

  • The nature of the information.
  • Whether your account or membership remains active.
  • The duration of a contractual relationship.
  • The need to administer transactions, refunds, or disputes.
  • Applicable accounting, tax, regulatory, or recordkeeping requirements.
  • Security, fraud-prevention, and legal-claims considerations.
  • Your valid requests concerning your information.

For example, transaction and accounting records may need to be retained after a purchase, while an inactive community profile may no longer be needed for the same period.

Where information is no longer required, we will take appropriate steps to delete it, anonymise it, or otherwise securely dispose of it, subject to applicable law.

We do not promise that every record can be erased immediately upon request. Certain information may need to be retained for lawful reasons.

10. DATA SECURITY

AfroLife uses reasonable technical, organisational, and administrative measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or misuse.

Measures may include access controls, account protections, secure service providers, operational procedures, and appropriate handling of sensitive information.

The specific safeguards depend on the nature of the service and the information involved.

No website, electronic transmission, storage system, or internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should use appropriate account security practices and avoid sending passwords, payment credentials, private keys, recovery phrases, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary messages.

If you believe your information or account has been compromised, contact us promptly.

Where a personal-data breach occurs, we will assess and respond to it in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including any required notifications.

11. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your location and the laws that apply, you may have the right to:

  • Request confirmation of whether we process your personal information.
  • Access a copy of relevant personal information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of information in appropriate circumstances.
  • Request restriction of certain processing.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Object to direct marketing.
  • Request portability of certain information.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
  • Complain to a competent data-protection authority.
  • Exercise additional rights provided by applicable law.

These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.

For example, we may need to retain certain transaction records to meet legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, or fulfill an existing contract.

11.1 How to Make a Request

Email Hello@afrolifeministry.club with the subject line Privacy Request.

Please describe the request and identify the service or account concerned.

We may need to verify your identity or authority before disclosing or changing personal information. We will request only information reasonably necessary for that verification.

We aim to respond within the period required by applicable law. Where a request cannot be fulfilled in full, we will explain the relevant reason where legally required.

You do not need to provide unnecessary sensitive information when submitting a request.

11.2 Complaints

If you have concerns about how AfroLife handles your information, please contact us so that we can investigate.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent privacy or data-protection authority in your country or jurisdiction.

12. AFL POINTS, DIGITAL WALLETS, AND BLOCKCHAIN PRIVACY

AFL Points may be administered through account-based records or another programme infrastructure.

Where points are managed through ordinary database systems, related information may include account identifiers, qualifying activities, point balances, adjustments, redemption records, and program communications.

If AfroLife introduces wallet-enabled or blockchain functionality, the information processed may also include wallet addresses, transaction identifiers, public blockchain records, and information needed to operate or support the relevant feature.

The actual information collected will depend on the implementation.

12.1 Wallet Credentials

AfroLife does not require users to disclose wallet private keys, recovery phrases, or seed phrases for ordinary customer support.

You should never disclose those credentials to an unauthorized person.

12.2 Public Blockchain Records

Some blockchain transactions are publicly visible and may be difficult or impossible to alter or erase.

Wallet addresses may be linked to individuals through transaction patterns, external records, or other information, even where the address does not directly display a person’s name.

AfroLife will assess relevant privacy implications before implementing blockchain functionality and should avoid placing directly identifying personal information on a public blockchain.

12.3 Additional Notices

Before introducing materially different wallet, token, or blockchain features, AfroLife may provide additional privacy information describing the relevant data, purposes, recipients, risks, and applicable rights.

The existence of AFL Points does not mean that a blockchain token or wallet service is currently available.

13. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND AUTOMATED PROCESSING

Certain AfroLife services may use AI tools, automated systems, or third-party technology providers.

Depending on the service, information you submit may be processed to generate a response, provide a requested service, assist with support, or improve operational performance.

You should avoid submitting sensitive personal information to an AI-enabled service unless it is necessary for the service and the applicable privacy information explains how it will be handled.

Where third-party AI providers are involved, their role and access to information will depend on the configuration and contractual arrangements.

AfroLife will assess applicable legal requirements before using personal information for AI training, profiling, or other purposes materially different from the purpose for which it was collected.

Where required, we will provide additional information, obtain consent, or offer relevant choices.

If a service uses automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, any applicable disclosure and safeguards will be addressed in the relevant service notice.

14. CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

AfroLife recognises that some ministry, music, educational, community, and event activities may involve young people.

The applicable age requirements depend on the service and relevant law.

We do not intend to collect personal information from children in circumstances where doing so would be unlawful.

Where a service is intended for children or young people, appropriate safeguarding, parental or guardian consent, and data-protection measures must be implemented as required by applicable law.

If you believe a child has provided personal information in circumstances that are not permitted, contact Hello@afrolifeministry.club.

We will assess the situation and take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law.

15. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES

AfroLife may link to or integrate with third-party websites, social platforms, payment services, event providers, booking systems, AI tools, or other external services.

Those services may collect and process personal information under their own privacy policies and terms.

AfroLife does not control every aspect of third-party processing.

Before providing information directly to a third party, you should review its privacy information and consider whether you wish to proceed.

A link or integration does not automatically mean that AfroLife endorses every aspect of that third party’s privacy practices.

16. DONATIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS

Where AfroLife Ministry or another relevant entity accepts donations, offerings, gifts, or other voluntary contributions, we may process information needed to record and administer the contribution.

This may include the contributor’s contact details, contribution amount, transaction reference, payment status, correspondence, and information necessary for accounting or legal purposes.

Payment processing may be handled by a third-party provider.

Where a contribution is intended to be anonymous, we will respect that request to the extent operationally and legally possible. Payment processors or applicable law may nevertheless require certain records.

Information concerning donations will not automatically be shared with unrelated partners or used for unrelated marketing.

The receiving entity’s legal and tax status determines the relevant treatment of contributions. This Policy does not represent that every contribution is tax-deductible.

17. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

AfroLife may update this Policy as its services, technologies, business arrangements, and legal obligations evolve.

The revised version will be published on the relevant website with an updated date.

Where required by law, or where a material change significantly affects how personal information is processed, we will provide appropriate notice or obtain consent where necessary.

The updated Policy will apply from its stated effective date, subject to applicable law and any additional notice or consent requirements.

We encourage you to review this page periodically.

18. GOVERNING LAW AND PRIVACY COMPLAINTS

Privacy and data-protection rights may be governed by mandatory laws applicable to your location, the responsible entity, and the relevant processing activity.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude or restrict a right or remedy that applicable data-protection law makes mandatory.

The governing-law and dispute-resolution provisions in AfroLife’s Terms of Use apply only to the extent that they are legally enforceable and consistent with mandatory privacy and data-protection protections.

Where you are entitled to complain to a competent data-protection authority, this Policy does not prevent you from exercising that right.
